Gynecologic Infectious Diseases

Infections of female genitals and sex, organs are known as Gynecologic Infectious Diseases. The infections can be treated with the administration of drugs. In severe cases, serious attention is required to cure the infection. Gynecologic infections can occur during pregnancy which can aggravate the progress of pregnancy. Some the infections like Rubella, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Toxoplasmosis, Cytomegalovirus, Herpes simplex virus infection, Listeriotic, and Bacterial Vaginosis damage the fetus affecting the labour. The infections can be cured by the intake of antibiotics prescribed by the health care provider.
