Gynecologic Oncology dealswith the essential research in gynecologiccancer relating to female genitalia, reproductive systemincluding ovaries, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, vagina, and vulva; trainingand extraordinary patient care. The AmericanCancer Society estimates that 1,06,00 women are diagnosed withmalignant growth in the reproductive organsevery year which includes cervical cancer, uterine cancer, vulvar cancer and ovariancancer. It is important to learn about risk, prevention, and screening ofthese cancers whichwill be discussed under this session.
