Geriatric Gynecology

Geriatric Gynecology

The study of gynecological conditions in postmenopausal women 65 and older is known as geriatric gynecology. The geriatric period becomes more important as age becomes a factor. The difficulty of applying treatment treatments is increased by the effects of aging on the tissue milieu. Therefore, all gynecologists should work to provide these women with care both throughout their reproductive years and later in life. The geriatric clinic is equipped to handle these fresh challenges and give patients fresh options for leading healthier lives. Gynecologists provide care for women 65 years of age and older in three different ways: as surgeons, as advisors and therapists for gynecologic issues, and as primary and preventive healthcare professionals. Geriatric gynecology is a rapidly expanding discipline. In light of rapidly evolving technologies and advancements in gynecologic care, we must evaluate whether interventions are suitable and helpful, identify unmet needs, and allocate resources effectively.
